# Jordan Peltz ![[IMG_0280_contact-sheet_banner-1.jpg]] --- Technically, I'm a Director and Writer at PopFizz, where I work mainly making brand films and commercials, but it's usually more fascinating than that. Storytelling is at the heart of it, but the job primarily involves being a visual translator. Whether it's scribbles on a napkin, a dream, or a ninety-page screenplay, it's my job to translate that vague, esoteric, or fully formed idea into a reality. I live and work in Knoxville, Tennessee. I studied cultural geography at the University of Tennessee, and I learned filmmaking independently, primarily through living and observing the world around me.
